About ~
Piotr is a Polish guitarist and composer based in the Netherlands. He is working to establish himself as an original, new voice on the contemporary European music scene leading his own band — Piotr Lipowicz Trio — and being involved in many projects as a sideman, stylistically ranging from jazz, through indie rock, to chamber classical music.
Stereo Talk is out now!
At the heart of ‘Stereo Talk’ lies the search for different ways to play music in a conversation-like fashion. Composed parts, improvised pieces, and free-form soundscapes invite different approaches to interplay. We aim to listen with curiosity so we can respond in a way that brings the conversation forward. While these are lofty goals, ultimately, ‘Stereo Talk’ is just two guitarists in a room having fun.
